Avast is an anti-virus computer program developed by ALWIL Software. It has a free version called Avast Home. It is not the best antivirus software in the world and it does not catch all the bad guyes, but hey it is pretty good for a free program. Also avast home has a real time protection and updates. You need a free registration for a serial number every year.
